Our fusion research group was delighted to host Dr Donald A. Spong from Oak Ridge National Laboratory (USA) during his visit to Barcelona Supercomputing Center from the 1st to the 6th of July 2016.
During his stay he gave a lecture entitled ‘Alfven spectra and energetic particle driven instabilities in 3D configurations’ and collaborated with our PhD student Allah Rakha on 3D simulations of Alfvenic instabilities.
