Our group has appeared in the last issue of “Fusion in Europe”. In the article titled as “Dan Brown, MareNostrum and Postdocs in Barcelona”, the EUROfusion newsletter gathers some data related with our group and center.
The article begins with the Barcelona Supercomputing Center appearance in the latest novel by Dan Brown, “Origin”. Next our group leader Mervi Mantsinen explains the relation among the fusion and supercomputing fields. Sergi Girona, director of the Operations Department, talks about the announcement from the European Commission to invest EUR 1 billion in world-class supercomputers. And finally the article mentions that our group is looking for postdocs for the STARS programme.
