{"id":93280,"date":"2026-11-02T07:42:56","date_gmt":"2026-11-02T06:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fusion.bsc.es\/?p=93280"},"modified":"2026-11-02T07:42:56","modified_gmt":"2026-11-02T06:42:56","slug":"nvidia-build-a-claw-barcelona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fusion.bsc.es\/index.php\/2026\/11\/02\/nvidia-build-a-claw-barcelona\/","title":{"rendered":"NVIDIA Build-A-Claw Barcelona"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_93058\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-93058\" style=\"width: 740px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-93058\" src=\"https:\/\/fusion.bsc.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-from-2026-10-20-18-54-01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"429\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-93058\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The webpage from NVIDIA available at https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/ai\/build-a-claw\/?ncid=progr-103732<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On 13 October 2026,<strong> NVIDIA<\/strong> organised the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/ai\/build-a-claw\/?ncid=progr-103732\"><strong>Build-A-Claw<\/strong><\/a> event at the Palau Reial de Pedralbes in Barcelona. <strong>The event focused on demonstrating the results and capabilities of recently developed AI Agents leveraging NVIDIA&#8217;s open-source NemoClaw framework.<\/strong> Participants could visit three spaces: a room with a stage for talks, an open space where they could view and enquire about AI Agent demos, and another open space where NVIDIA experts were available to discuss the technology in more depth with interested attendees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The BSC fusion group<\/strong>, which focuses on research activities involving HPC for nuclear fusion and is interested in industrial and cutting-edge applications, <strong>seized the opportunity to attend<\/strong> the event.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>talks<\/strong> held in the first room covered the following topics:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Keynote talk: <em>&#8220;La transici\u00f3n hacia los agentes aut\u00f3nomos&#8221;<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>\u200bPanel talk: <em>&#8220;Agentes en acci\u00f3n: c\u00f3mo se est\u00e1 desarrollando con IA en Espa\u00f1a&#8221;<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>\u200bTalk describing demos of the best selected projects in a Hackathon competition held in Barcelona: <em>&#8220;Lo que se ha creado en Europa&#8221;<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>demos<\/strong> presented in the open space showed the application of AI Agents to several different tasks. This hardware can be provided locally in laptops by selecting the necessary resources, or via dedicated connected or remote bare metal hardware, or even through the cloud.
