Our task is to help generate efficient simulations in HPC environments<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We are looking for Research Engineers in Scientific Computing to join the grow<\/strong>ing te<\/strong>am of the EUROfusion<\/a>\u00a0Advanced Computing Hub<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The successful candidates will participate in cutting-edge European R&D activities related to the optimization and programming of codes devoted to simulation-based plasma physics science and fusion technology.\u00a0 They will become members of this reference performance group in an international working environment.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The overall\u00a0objective<\/strong> of our group is to enhance modelling capabilities in fusion by code development, validation, integration and optimization including the use of advanced HPC techniques<\/strong>. We work closely towards the objectives of EUROfusion, the European fusion research program for Horizon Europe, in collaboration with Fusion for Energy (F4E<\/a>),\u00a0ITER<\/a>,\u00a0International Tokamak Physics Activity<\/a>, and the\u00a0Spanish national fusion laboratory CIEMAT<\/a>. At BSC, our group is hosted by the Department of Computer Applications for Science and Engineering (CASE) and is led by\u00a0ICREA Research Prof. Dr. Mervi Mantsinen<\/a>.<\/p>\n
