In the week from 5th to 8th of September, the Fusion group member Felipe Nathan <\/strong>participated in the 21th Joint EU-US Transport Task Force Meeting,<\/a><\/b> held in Leysin, Switzerland. The meeting gathered scientists from different parts of the world in the field of Thermonuclear Plasma Transport, mostly turbulent transport, and\u00a0 share their successes and failures, in order to strengthen and uplift the scientific pursuit of Controlled Thermonuclear Fusion.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The encounter counted with scientist from all corners of the world, from Asia to America, bringing up the possibility of an EU-US-Asia meeting. Different projects and results were presented, from deep neural networks in the assessment of simulations to the advances in the theory of neoclassical transport in Stellarators<\/b>.<\/p>\n

“Notwithstanding the infantile idiosyncrasies of my research, my efforts were received with positive and constructive feedbacks, which heightened my determination to conclude the work and to give one more little, but significant, step towards the Future of Nuclear Fusion.”<\/p>\n
