The 27th<\/sup> International Conference on Magnet Technology (MT27)<\/strong><\/a> was held at Fukuoka International Congress Center, Fukuoka, Japan and online from November 15 to 19, 2021.<\/p>\n

Our colleague Jos\u00e9 Lorenzo participated in the conference and presented a poster entitled<\/strong> \u201cHomogenization of Winding Pack Properties for the Structural Analysis of Fusion Magnets\u201d<\/em><\/a> on the work he developed in our group within his prestigious EUROfusion Engineering Grant (EEG)<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

We have been very pleased to learn that Jos\u00e9\u2019s presentation has been awarded with one of the six Outstanding Presentation Awards<\/strong> given to students and\/or young (no more than 35 years old) participants for their excellent oral \/ poster presentations. The awards cover all conference topics.<\/p>\n
