6<sup>th<\/sup> to 8<sup>th<\/sup> of June, our group leader <strong>Mervi Mantsinen<\/strong> has participated in the <strong>Workshop on Ion Cyclotron Resonance Frequency Heating (ICRH) scenarios for ITER organized at ITER Headquarters<\/strong>, France.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Organized by ITER, the workshop counted on the participation of several ITER experts together with approximately <strong>35 specialists from research institutions around the world<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mervi gave a <strong>talk entitled <em>\u201cICRF scenarios in Deuterium-Tritium plasmas: results from JET DTE1 and preparations of JET DTE2 with extrapolation to ITER\u201d<\/em><\/strong> and <strong>chaired<\/strong> one of the two <strong>session on<\/strong> <em>\u201c<strong>Predictive modelling of ICRF scenarios<\/strong>\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2038\" style=\"width: 740px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2038\" src=\"http:\/\/fusion.bsc.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/FIGURE2-400x225.jpg\" was very successful and its outcome will be summarized in a <strong>report<\/strong> which will <strong>serve as reference for future<\/strong> discussions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Wednesday, the workshop agenda included an <strong>ITER worksite tour<\/strong> to have a close look at the ITER building works that are progressing in a truly impressive manner.<\/p>\n<figure
